How many times have we heard AW say they are out for a "couple" of days it drives me nuts.
He must wrap them all in cotton wool and the slightest knock and they don't play.
It must be so easy for any of the players to fake a injury if they can't be bothered to play. OR AW uses these "knocks" as a cover up as he hasnt got the bollocks to drop any of them.

If he is too ill to play then he wont be in the squad, Wenger isnt one to play ill or injured players!flash gunner wrote:Chest infections....... Are they career threatening?

The worrying thing is that this very thought crossed my mind too

I disagree with the fox in the box, that is eduardo. We need a world class defensive midfielder, not a holding midfielder. Song and some part denilson are holding midfielders who break up play with interceptions.
What we need is a defensive midfielder that wins the ball, harrying players making tackles, even making fouls when needed.
Have said since lehman was first dropped we should of replaced him with a new keeper and not our second choice (spains 10th choice) keeper. We missed out on given, and i cant see weneger spending more than 5 mil in this area so if he does decide to buy dont expect to of heard of the player.
I would be very happy with our front line of.
.............Eduardo.............
Arshavin............Van Perise
With walcott, bendtner and vela in the reserves.

If that was true, then I hope it works. I'm not saying Almunia is a world beater but if we were exposed without him for long enough everyone would soon agree that he is far better than that fucking joker Fabianski could ever wish to be. And as for Mannone - when we had a TV channel of our own I had the dubious pleasure of seeing him in action for the stiffs. Not a pretty sightI Hate Hleb wrote:Perhaps playing Mannone - who makes Fabianski look cool, calm and collected in comparison - is a subtle Wenger plan to get us to appreciate Almunia more?![]()

he was overexposed. you can blame him for not tackling micah richards properly, but that's his only big mistake.green gooner wrote: His attempts to break up play against Man City were bloody awful Brazil, that's why
he is having a good season. a shame he was already in the squad. if we didn't have him, and wenger had bought him on this window, we'd be glad with him. the problem is, he was already in the hate list together with diaby, eboué, bendtner and denilson.
To be honest Brazilian, I agree that Song has been one of our better players, but the amount of collective and individual errors we've had this season, that has cost us goals, is actually quite frightening!brazilianGOONER wrote: he was overexposed. you can blame him for not tackling micah richards properly, but that's his only big mistake.

Song is far from the worst culprit (Almunia, Clichy and Diaby can fight it out for that honour
