Poor Alex

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Then again I did fancy the Cadbury's Caramel Bunny!

She was hot and a memory well worth of my 500th post. I also liked Hanbal and Gemima off of playskool, would have liked to have had em both

My freaking computer must be knackered cos I cannot see the smiling or winking symbols in the first few posts. All of a sudden hleb is the world-class player akin to george "the alco" best and its a huge freaking travesty that he will never play in a world cup finals ? Do me a favour lads and have a chat with yourselves  Hleb has played better this season I agree but he is nowhere near the level that ye are bigging him up to be and there are no doubt thousands of better players that never played in world cup finals. The fact that he could get into the england team says more about their team than it does hleb :) :) :)

Seeing as one of you mentioned nationalised brits like lennox lewis I thought you would also like to remember terry butcher(born in singapore), johnny barnes(a jamican maan) and tony dorigo(an aussie) to mention just 3. The irony of all the digs in the english media about the eligibility of some of jack charltons recruits made me laugh and the old "people in glasshouses" saying sprang to mind.

Anyway is there any chance the spurts loving matty taylor can please fuck off and join spurts in jan so that aa1886 can finally put his "dream" to bed

I'd be happy to see Hleb play for Ireland.

Hey Clinton Morrison was playing at one stage....

Shouldn't put aa1886, matty taylor, dream and bed in the same sentence.

And augie, just for you

And point taken regarding nationlised brits. I don't know but I imagine that Butcher and Barnes were brought up in England for a significant part of their childhood therefore they probably actually feel English/British, and are embedded in the culture. The same, again I can't say for certain, cannot be said for some of those players picked for Eire. (Macateer springs to mind).

 8)

Uefa ruled it first as an own goal, the meanies

What a performance by Hleb, my man of the match, if it is possible to only have one. What a performance he had tonight, he tortured before Slavia with his passing, dribbling and yes, even his shooting.
