Great touch and a good turn of speed to get past the defender and set up the winner, also finally he got that final ball right.

I think it's crazy to say Theo won't make it or lacks the quality to do well. Don't even think it! The guy has more class than most players you will see in a lifetime but he is just 18 years old. That's 18! He's only been allowed to buy a pint for the last six months. And he's already part of what looks to me like a truly special team. Compare him with RVP who joined Arsenal aged 21, three years ago, and really only came into consistent form last season, then got injured.

Patience is one of the values that Arsene Wenger talks about when he praises the Arsenal philosophy. Theo will be a superstar, we just need to show a little patience.

Meanwhile those of you who still doubt Theo's talent; what other players can you think of who have played better or achieved more at such a young age?

What makes me proud is that he is very composed in front of goal. And it could be the end of Theo on the right wing now. This is how I reckon he fits in now.

RB
Sagna
Hoyte

RM
Hleb
Eboue

LM
Rosicky
Diaby (Even though he is better in the center.

CF
RvP+Adebayor
Walcott+Dudu
Bendtner

I wouldn't rule Walcott being used on the right a few more times but he has certainly staked a claim to more games up front. Two good goals, good dribbling, excellent link up play, it was all good.

Now correct me if I'm wrong but isnt that:

1st start up front against Chelsea - Great goal in cup final

2nd Start up front in Champs League - 1 great goal and one super composed finish!

I've been saying it for ages, Theo is a striker, when we play him in the right place he's fantastic! Not doubting the boss because he had to start on the wing to make his transformation in TH14 complete lol :?
