Looks like he's off to see some lunatic quack to speed up his recovery.

Crocked Arsenal striker Robin van Persie has resorted to an unorthodox treatment in order to rush him back into action - rubbing placenta fluid into his injured ankle.

The in-form front-man has opted to undergo the bizarre treatment in a bid to come back even sooner - and has the permission of his club to do so. Van Persie revealed he learned of the unusual remedy from PSV Eindhoven captain Danko Lazovic.

He said: 'I will fly to the Balkans to meet with a female doctor who helped Lazovic. She is vague about her methods but I know she massages you using fluid from a placenta.

'I'm going to try. It cannot hurt and if it helps, it helps. I've been in contact with Arsenal physiotherapists and they have let me do it.'

 Bas!!

The most worrying part of that is when he says she is "vague about her methods"........i.e she is a nutter!!

Didn't Tom Cruise eat his missus placenta

Can't be any worse than the lunatics who already work for the Arsenal medical team

One thing though...I'm sure when he comes back, he will be like a new-born signing.

I don't think it's a matter of whether Eduardo is good enough or not it's more a case of whether we play to his strengths or not..
He's an intelligent footballer, good finisher good control, good touch and he links up very well, but if the midfield don't support him adequately he is going to look out of his depth through no fault of his own.
He would be more suited in a 4-4-2 playing off someone like Bendtner but if we play 4-3-3 he is not the type of player you can leave up front on his own to battle it out with two centre halfs, he needs plenty of support, runners, people to link with, if he gets that he'll do a very good job, if he doesn't we'd be better off with Bendtner to give us some presence up there or even Walcott to frighten teams with his pace, but knowing wengers penchant for strange positional decisions i'm not ruling out a possible centre forward appearance for son of Wenger Super Eb.

Doesn't make me feel any better by saying "I fucking told you so!" but I FUCKING TOLD YOU SO... :(

Number 5 - that's a 20 you is owing me blud. innit. (and :( )

This is why we probably won't win the PL this season - because Wenger didn't strengthen the squad. If Cesc and/or TV get crocked (a possibility) in the next couple of weeks we are in real trouble... 3 most in form players out and no REAL PROVEN quality to replace them. I know it's a worst case scenario but it does highlight what could happen... but hopefully won't... :?

Hold dem horses bredrin.

The bet was for 1/3rd of the season wasn't it? What did we say 12 games, something like that?

By my calculations even if he is out for 11 games that will be Villa on 27th Jan as he hasn't missed any through injury so far. So ample time for a recovery even if it's an 8 week absence

I still feel confident. :worried: :worried:
