As asked for, a hugely significant CL game away to AC Milan.

One man dominted that game, ran it from front to back except he wasn't really a man, a bit of a boy to be fair, innit?

Still that's not enough eh? Run him down some bruv...........
Watch the game again mate, I've still got it on my sky+ as it is my favourate game in the last 5 years, and Diaby was just as good, Fabs was class and scored that goal but diaby was the player who really bossed the game not fabs....look at the space he got for goal.

Im not taking anything away from him in that game because he was class but for me diaby in that game was the star.

NOT A BIT LIST THOUGH IS IT?
Shit man, without watching it again, I'd be confident to say if you really watched it Hleb just might have had the real game of the match, along with Flamini, look out for those triangles. 8)

They were all class, that kind of my point when we are good, the whole team is in general. But when were shit is when you need an individual to take the game by the horns and this is something s for such a good player he dosent seem to do and this is the differnece between good and great player.

He leaves and isnt a bad influence in the dressing room.

He hasnt been any gd this yr neway, hes not as gd as every1 tinks he is.

Also its lyk when th14 left, everyting dont have to go thru 1 playa, so we play better.

to say that cesc is overrated is a flawed argument says radford. he is an asset to the club and this season has shown what he can do in a more advanced position.

radford has be a critic of the lads performances especially last season but in order to shine good players need players of equal ability or better around them. unfortunately we are a poor squad.

I do think he is over-rated slightly that said he is without doubt out best player and would hate to lose him, but he doesnt take games by the scruff of the neck and pull us through like other world class players can do.......

As i said id hate to lose him though

If he was the player that everyone claims he is, this wouldn't have been the case.

And I'm not buying the "he's only as good as the players around him" line. Wright shone through in a team of utter dross, and I'd imagine that Henry and Bergkamp would've shown their class in amongst a bunch of losers as well.

To say that Fabregas can only play well if there are only good players "supporting" him simply reveals his limitations.

What nonsense, because Henry and Wrighty were in there national teams at the age of 19-20 which Cesc was in 2008
The lad is 21 and has done more in his career than some footballers in a lifetime. The all so great Xavi has assisted less goals in his career than Cesc so far, you might want to look that up.

As I said before Lampard dint play well in that match but yet the Chavs pumped us for 3. Cesc cant grow wings and save us because the redbull adverts are fictional not real!!

I just cannot get my head around the incredulous statement (by a few it has to be said) that cesc is supposed to single handidly drag this average team to greatness against a team of world class men (as opposed to boys) He was our one class player v how many chav world class players but you think that is an even match ? No wonder he fcuked off down the tunnel pronto after the game cos he is probably well pissed off at being asked to carry the pile of rubbish week in and week out and loyalty to wenger can only last for so long and if I was him I would be off like a shot to the first big club that came in for me.

By the way lads being back up to xavi and iniesta is no fcuking disgrace

I dont think he is supposed to but top top class players do when others are flagging or not good enough. Im not saying that being one of the few class players within this team he will shine constantly but when the team play badly he does become slightly anonomous, i suppose you could say it works the other way too (when he is bad the team is non exsistant) which would totally blow my thoughts out of the water.

Which other midfielder in Europe has 9 goals this season? The man to blame is Wenger who has surrounded are one truly world class player with dross. When Cesc first came into the Arsenal team he had Vieira and Gilberto partnering him.Look who he has now :banghead: :banghead:

9 goals against who? He hasnt scored against a good team when we have had our back to the wall this season. Its easy in this team to play well in this team against the small clubs.....

It sounds like i think Cesc is shit he isnt and he is head and shoulders above any other player at Arsenal but i do think he is slightly over-rated

Flash you could say the same about Song and RVP who have been getting rave reviews this season. But against who?
My point is he has scored 9 goals inspite of the crap around him.And for a midfielder that is not a bad return
Lets make the most of him because he wont be here next season

You cant say fabregas is overated because he hasnt scored against yanited or chelsea, Essien didnt score against us is he overrated?

He has nothing infront of him to work with, the front 3 are static and with no movement its impossible for cesc to pick out a defense splitting pass. He put eduardo through 3 times yesterday but eddie just isnt good enough to take these chances.

We havent replaced three keys players from the last time we won something, vieira, campbell and henry. Untill we finally do we wont win anything.

Tbf Cesc isn’t really a Ladyboy or Messi type of player that will create something out of nothing all on his own. His game is more about bringing others into play & no matter how good you are at pulling the strings you’ve still got to have some half-decent puppets (muppets?) to work with.

Even the likes of Paddy or Keane had games more suited to being able to “take a game by the scruff of the neckâ€
