striker first surely

Post by lowerwest »

cant see past a front man really. its embarrasing playing with AA upfront when he plainly doesnt enjoy the role. yes we are scoring goals and no i cant quite see how. centre backs bartley looks a big unit and has promise but i agree we cant rely on tweetie pie. all our keepers put together would make half a decent keeper. mind u arent most keepers slightly crap...green,carson,james.jussi jaskleainen has always impressed me.

I wouldn't mind Saha, actually. He's a proven Premiership player, he's quick, strong, can score and can hold up the ball. I also think that he'd be a good fit for our formation.

Of course his injury record is frightening, but for free (or nearly free) you almost can't go wrong.

Wenger has stated that being C/L cup tied doesn't matter but i think he buy cover for the CB's and possible DM as we basically no cover for these 2 positions.

I think wenger is holding out for Bendtner to return and so preserving with the present line up and plus he be scared to pay the money for a 20+goal scorer. That's our problem we have a abundance of 2nd striker but no main striker and that's why i wish he buy Dzeko regardless of price.

I think it's become apparent with the continuous use of Gallas and Vermaelen that he knows we haven't got QUALITY cover for these 2 and so with a packed run in we gonna need the cover and i think this for the DM position regardless of denilson who can't play that position.

I love pancakes and syrup...hmmmmmmmm

I still personally think that we've never truly replaced a leading striker since that krunt of a striker that left. Depsite his goals I was never overally convinced of RVP playing the lone role.

As much as I'm a fan of Bendtner I'd still like someone better in terms of overall quality. From what I've seen Dzeko would be the worth taking the risk on despite being CL cup-tied.
