WILTOOOOOOOOOOOORD!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

That would make more sense than signing Campbell :|

What a player Freddie was. I really fucking loved him.

Watch this.... what player do we have busting a gut to score tap-ins now? It was really sad when he completely went off the boil in his last 18 months at the club. What other player would dye their hair Arsenal's colours, try to take on the whole of Shite Hart Lane before kicking the fuck out of the dressing room door, and still score 15 goals a season from midfield. Legend.

sign him back, arsène
we have been fooled...Arsenal told us Djourou was injured? He is clearly playing for Metz!!!!

oh, and yes i liked Wiltord, he was a good player who got his fair share of goals, was used on the wing a lot when he was clearly a forward!

Arsenal have scored yet again in the Premiership and this could be the most crucial goal of all :barscarf:
It was cool the way Kanu jumped over him in the Celebration :barscarf:

It's funny but I always thought that wiltord was over-rated although that goal will mean he will always have a place in the hearts of Gooners everywhere 8) I remember sitting in the old north bank one bitterly cold sat afternoon and watched him have a poor game (couldnt trap a bag of cement) and yet he walked away with the match ball after bagging a hat-trick v the shammers :?

I loved Freddie to bits!

I can remember his debut, i was 13 at the time and was sat in the north bank, he came on as a sub against the mancs and scored. We won 3-0! Happy days!

Later that season he was warming up on the side line and a bloke in front of me asked for my programme. He then walked over and asked Freddie to sign it - which he did! I was so happy!

I agree, I think Wiltord was overated, dont get me wrong he scored some important goals but he wasnt that good. Away at Leicester when we drew 1-1, think Cole got sent off he was fucking shocking

I never rated him much either, but I'll always love him for winning us the league at Old Trafford. Something the Mancs have never done to us!
