Just got back home from the match
First things first, congratulations on what was a deserved victory. We didn't play as badly as we have done in recent weeks and the display was fairly "spirited" but we severely lacked any cutting edge in midfield and, although we could have nicked a draw had we taken one of our few chances (particularly kenwyne jones' gilt edged first half chance), we didn't deserve anything from the game.
From the Arsenal side of things, Eboue was your best player by a fair distance on the day, full of running and caused us plenty of problems. Theo Walcott was fucking hopeless- George McCartney was scared shitless of him and couldnt handle his pace but it hardly mattered since every ball Walcott played when he got past him was wasted.
Fabregas had a hit and miss game- didnt stamp his authority on it as much as he normally does. On that evidence I'm not sure that Ramsey and Fabregas are a very good partnership as there didnt seem to be much communication between the two of them, but maybe others have seen them play well together on other occasions
Almunia looked comfortable in goal and seemed to bring a bit of confidence to the defence, and Nasri was lively and threatening.
I was stuck in the Arsenal end in the upper tier so didnt get to join in with the singing of "gary rowell world" which looked quality, with our lot jumping all over the place. Theres normally a good atmosphere when we expect to get beaten, although apparently a fair few of our lads were pissed off at the stewards, who were kicking some of our lot out for standing and singing by the sounds of things. All PL stewards seem to be *word censored* (ours are no exception) and it is getting ridiculous the way they try to ensure there is no atmosphere whatsoever at matches
Pre match i made it down to watch the sunderland fans beat the arsenal fans, so at least that was one victory for us! Mind, i wish i had taken a later flight that could have led to me missing that first half
Post match we went drinking all over the place, but ended up in some pub with dodgems near the millenium eye which we duly went on when pissed, which was a laugh. We made it to trafalgar square and saw Big Ben and the palace, and then went to a "club" (basically just a fucking expensive pub with drinks at about £8 ) for one before deciding it was shit craic and opting for a gay bar in soho instead, where we tried it on with a few unsuspecting females (unsuccessfully, but we're going to assume this is because they were lesbians

!). Only bad thing about the night was some wanker trying to pickpocket me mates wallet, but he didnt succeed so thats all good- still annoying that the prick managed to run away just when i was looking forward to leathering him all ower london
So, an entertaining day out was had, followed by a flight with a hangover and now i am off to bed, apologies if this post made no sense whatsoever, i'm somewhat knackered!
Oh well, the best team won, best of luck for the rest of the season, hope you manage to grab the title
