EDDY DE SILVA
i agree with green gooner ideal game last night against reading would have given Eduardo the chance to settle into the EPL.
He has shown so far against teams in the EUROS he can score goals
it will be interesting to see how he gets on next wednesday against England!! being the goal scorer he is in the euro qualifiers
will fans turn on him!!HOPE NOT(GOONERS)
This man may have a say in us winning some silverwear this season!

To be honest I can't say whether or not he will flop, because I haven't seen enough of him to realistically form an opinion. Wenger doesn't make too many serious mistakes, but he has signed plenty of alright players that just haven't fit in.
I say give him a bit more time, of course, he actually has to get on the park to show what he can do.

Eduardo is an out-and-out goalscorer. Therefore I can't understand why The Boss wants to play him wide on the left. It seems that because Henry moved back to the centre from the wing, Wenger wants to do that with all of our strikers - he also did it with Van Persie and is still doing with Walcott. Centre-forwards thrive on scoring goals, playing them out of position will do them no good at all. I felt so sorry for Eduardo in Prague as he saw Diaby play down the middle where he should have been.
I find it a real concern that he is not in the squad at a place like Reading. I thought it was the sort of game that's made for him to play with Adebayor. He scored 2 great goals against Sheffield Utd becaus he played at centre forward. I'm certainly prepared to give the boy all the time he needs, but Arsene must play him in the centre. Give Eduardo the ball with a sight of goal, and he will put it in the net.

Agree with the Ben's comment, I also think he is a very intelligent player, whose national and previous club managers rate extremely highly, sayin that AW had bought himself a fantastic player and yet another bargain!
He's as cool as a cucumber in the box and a natural poacher combined with a team ethic, and if anyone can prepare him for the Prem and mould him into the perfect player for us, then it's Wenger

jury still out for me.
Although played well against England.
Fingers crossed...
PS. I don't really buy all this time to adjust stuff as much as others on here. fair enough I don't play football at the highest level, but I have slotted from team to team quickly enough.
it is more phyical in the premiership but these are world class players we are talking about here...

you gone from Croatia to England or the equivalent? Some players don't suit certain league styles, some struggle with the weather, the life style and remember that clubs like Arsenal demand a high standard. It isn't so much how good you are but how you are able to adapt sometimesPS.
