Just an observation... has there ever been a "good" game at Wembley since it was rebuilt? The pitch looked like the heavy muddy shite you get in a park. Not the sort of carpet a £1bn stadium which hosts 10 games a year deserves. Almost any premiership team would be embarrassed to own that pitch.

Top draw right midfielder who was blessed with silky skills and liked a tackle (anyone remember his dust up with Whiteside at Manure?) A true legend. :barscarf:

Its being re laid...so we will be playing them on a decent pitch.....Wigan Warriors complained about the standard of the pitch and we all know they are kings in that area!!!

I'm happy Man U won it. They'll just throw it on the pile with all the other trophys. They and their fans aren't going to crow about winning the CC. I think they are happier they stopped City getting to the final and winning it.

ManU take it only a little bit more seriously than we do. Early rounds are for back-up and youth players, same as us.

But if we get to the semi's again and play a local rival or another top premiership club I want Wenger to put out a strong team in future becasue it is silverware and a trip to wembley, after all.
