MUST READ PIECE IN GOONER ISSUE 179!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

In a strange way I could picture that happening, Cesc wondering around Highbury, Owe struck by the place.
Obviously the pixy juice i couldnt see,
but it was a nice story.
THE THING IS, I WAS ENJOYING THE PIECE SO MUCH THAT I THOUGHT IT WAS A REAL EVENT THAT HAD HAPPENED, AND DIDN'T REALISE IT WAS JUST A MADE-UP STORY UNTIL RIGHT AT THE END WHEN IT MENTIONED GEORGE ARMSTRONG HAD DIED IN 2000 - THREE YEARS BEFORE CESC HAD EVEN JOINED ARSENAL.

IT IS SO GOOD THAT I HONESTLY THINK SOMEONE SHOULD SEND A COPY OF THE STORY TO YOUNG CESC, AS I'M SURE HE WOULD BE BOTH INSPIRED AND FLATTERED BY THE FACT THAT HE WAS MENTIONED IN SUCH A WONDERFUL TALE.

A litertary masterpiece I am sure!

Now how many and whose tits exactly?

I have likened Alex Hleb's change in performance to that of tits. The gist being that when he signed he had saggy knee shooters that would get wedged beneath his arm pits when he lay down. However, over the summer he went to see a top German fun bags surgeon by the name of Dr Van Stopem floppem and now they are beautiful works of art that defy gravity with particular attention to detail around the aerola area, which are now as large as side plates

as the actual ed of the gooner - in case anyone actually thinks my name is ed - i will explain that the piece wasn't to my taste. i found it over-sentimental quite frankly.

but i ran it past a couple of other people who either liked it or reckoned it was worth printing just for the variety.

i think the writer is actually a published author from memory.

as for contributions from the forum members. do send them direct to me. even if i can't find room in the issue, i'll endeavour to at least use them online on the main part of the site.

I find your thesis relating to the Hleb/performance/tits axis to be most revealing, even, if I may add, uplifting.

Indeed, your research has been added further weight by reference to the great Dr Van Stopem floppem, whom I believe works closely with the eminent and widely published Dr Hans Uber-Alles.

MUST SAY I'M SURPRISED BY THAT, GOONER.ED - ESPECIALLY COMING FROM AN OBVIOUSLY WELL READ AND THOUGHTFUL MAN LIKE YOURSELF 8) (TIP FOR YOU NEVER-DO-WELL'S: THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS BROWN-NOSING PEOPLE IN AUTHORITHA TOO MUCH)

I MUST SAY THOUGH THAT I THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD LITTLE STORY IN IT'S OWN RIGHT, AND LET'S BE HONEST, IF WE CAN'T BE SENTIMENTAL ABOUT FOOTBALL - AND ARSENAL IN PARTICULAR - THEN WE MIGHT AS WELL GIVE UP AND START FOLLOWING SOMETHING ELSE.
