Is there anybody out there who still believes?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Incredibly we can actually still win this thing! Providing we win all six and United and Chelski draw...

MAN UTD:
Chelsea D
Blackburn W
Man City L
Tottenham W
Sunderland W
Stoke W

CHELSEA:
Man Utd D
Bolton W
Tottenham W
Stoke W
Liverpool D
Wigan W

ARSENAL 86
CHELSEA 85
MAN UTD 85

...quite incredible huh? and all of those predictions are pretty realistic. We had one 'life' going in to the last seven, we've used it, guys its improbable... but not impossible...

...yes but we are and have been labouring to victory whereas United and Chelsea are now hitting decent form. Even if we had not fucked it up today it would not have hidden the fact that we struggled yet again to a hard win when United and Chelsea brushed aside potentially opponents today.

Upon reflection I kind of feel some relief, imagine if this had gone right to the wire and the disappointment would be so much harder to take. Imagine if Tottenham were to have denied us the title - do we really want to give them that? No instead we can look back and say we simply were not good enough.

Mentral toughness - my ass!

If we'd won today, there would have been 6 games remaining - Wolves, Sp*rs, Wigan, Citeh, Blackburn and Fulham.

Are we the best team in England? no, of course not - are we better than the 6 clubs menioned above?? hell yes!

The title was realistic, in my opinion - now it's a long shot, but a draw next week between Chelsea and ManUre opens the door again.... just.
A Draw will be the best, but no harm if Chelsea win it in my opinion. But if Utd win, then I think it's all over. To get Chelsea with 3 pts (assuming they win next week), it's possible (looking at their fixtures to play in WHL and Anfield).

Again, no matter what will happen next week, our chance is so little now. The goal differences will kill us in the end, not to mention about the momentum after this fucking draw in the squad!!

The strongest XI possible - as we would have done against ManUre, Chelsea, Barca, etc.

That's all.

I can't argue with the performance, because players have off days, which is a fact of life, but I just think we should have given oursleves the best possible chance of victory by starting with our bext XI - which we didn't do today, as the team selection on Wednesday will prove.

I don't think that's being over critical or over the top - I'm just surprised by Wenger's decision.
Agreed.
Does this ever work for us in the last few yrs? I simple think that he made the same mistake as last year (FA cup against Chelsea) again. Only AW knows :banghead:

Somebody had the lovely girl as his Avatar.

We had a few photos posted here. Including one where she was wearing some skimpy knickers. The girl is beautiful. But personally I don't like to see pubes which are the size of a small shrub.

Hahaha, I course I am! Personally i thought it was over when United failed to drop points against Liverpool last week, I really don't see them dropping much at all!!! I'm pretty pessimistic, so to even find an unlikely way to win the league is good for me!

It is still possible, I thought from the Stoke game we could afford one draw, I thought that would be the spuds game.
Win our remaining games? I doubt it, wenger has pushed the panic button, and I think we will pick up 8 points from our remaining fixtures.

After the Stoke game i felt we could do it but it relied on Manure and Chavski dropping points and us not to but after Yesterday i feel the lack of quality in our squad and with the results the other 2 scum got we get 3rd.We have had struggling wins against lower league sides while the other 2 are hitting form and we still have 2 tricky games in Shitty and the Y*ds while on the present form chav's and manure will probably draw against each other but think will win there remaining games.

Maybe next year......
