As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

To be honest, if fabregas goes then wenger should go.
Too right.
Cesc is one of the best players in the world yet Wenger has surrounded him with shite players like Diaby Denilson and Eboue. When Cesc came into the team in 2004 he was playing alongside PV and Gilberto. When Cesc goes the final nail will be in the coffin of Project Wenger
Just e-mailed the club about their (and Cesc's) lack of honesty on this issue..Simple equation...talented footballer loves Arsenal but Barca are his home town club and the desire to play there is immense..Perfectly understandable....but why the dishonesty and the constant denials from player and club when this end was always going to happen.?
Another transfer saga about our best player, and the same conclusion is inevitable. So in answer to the question of what would appease me on his leaving...simple honesty by the club at all times.

Agreed. and when he does leave for barca, just imagine the grief the fans will give wenger and the board, it'll be massive. i can only see the club going in an even more of a downward spiral now, bit like liverpool
you have to think, what top players would want to join arsenal? seriously, no world class player would when you would have to play with the crap we have. then you have to think, who signed the crap weve got. im fecking sick of this 'project' and wenger, we need a fresh approach before things get even worse

Wholeheartedly agree with this, the team creates a sum total of sweet FA when he's injured or off his game. There is no one there to replace him, so unless we are going to bring back Cristiano Ronaldo, ressurect Zidane and get DB10 to roll bak the years, all with the money then nothing but winning the league next May will appease me.

If he really wants to leave then delay the move until after the WC, hope he has a good 'un and then shove the asking price up. He is contracted until 2014 so the chips aren't in is hands with regards to price/time of the move.

True, but sadly no one at our club seems to have a spine when it comes to these situations, they just roll over and let the likes of Barca and Madrid tickle their bellies.
Just heard a nasty rumour that we might want a swap involving Ibrahimovic, that had better be some bored journos idea of a f***ing joke. I'd rather the money if we are selling.
