If there are cracks at Barca, then we must have gaping holes.
Thats not really the point is it.

Looks like Yaya has just passed a medical for Citeh.

Which means that whatever the deal is Barca now have money.
Expect a call soon Mr Wenger! :?
I'm guessing its something like £20M

So is that money on top of the £39M they offered or was it £39 speculated from the Yaya sale?
We will still play hard ball and maybe go with the fact they now have around £60M (£39M+£20M).

Although we're unlikely to re-invest it.

Wankers! :banghead:

I've seen the reported (on the other thread about Citeh) is that yaya's transfer is £27.5M That still could be around £60M they have.

£27.5 million is derisory. £50 million gets us thinking

Cesc Fabregas has his heart set on playing for Barcelona next season, according to his Spain team-mate Gerard Pique.
The 23-year-old Arsenal captain, who came through the Barca youth system with Pique, has been a peripheral figure in Spain's World Cup campaign. But his down time has been spent, according to former Manchester United defender Pique, with those players he hopes will be his team-mates at the Nou Camp next term.
"I have known that Cesc wanted to join Barcelona for many years - but now it is more than about wanting to do it," Barca defender Pique told the Daily Star Sunday.
"Now it is something he feels he must do.
"The World Cup has not been a good thing for Arsenal.
"It has meant that he has been spending every day with myself, Xavi, Andres Iniesta and Victor Valdes - and he has made his feelings very clear to us.
"He is keeping his mind focused on Spain but his heart is in Barcelona. I think already in his heart he is wearing a Barcelona shirt next season."

On the whole I haven’t been overly pissed at Cesc for the way this thing has played out so far - certainly not for wanting to go in the first place. But at some point (which has probably been & gone) he either has to tell his bezzie mates to shut the fuck up with these sort of quotes or he’s as culpable for them as Pique/Xavi etc by way of condoning them. If they’re all so close then Cesc has it in his power to tell them to show Arsenal some respect, for his sake if nothing else. I don’t expect him to say anything publicly but just tell Pique & friends to shut their collective paella-hole for 5 bloody minutes.

Unless of course these quotes are all the work of some scummy Spanish tablod in which case forget the above & let's just call them cunts instead.

paella-hole  very good work IU

More or less agree with this. I mean, there isn't anything happening that's unexpected.

Fabregas has asked to leave, Wenger more or less said no...he's at the world cup and talking to his old mates...Wenger will try the Henry trick of one more year as a patch up...

I'm almost beyond caring...until I think of the kind of football that we played without him last year. And how good he is. And Diaby. And Denilson

Couldn't careless weather he stays or goes, eitherway has gone down in my estimations.

Unfortunately now have very little time for players.

I suspect the desire is what's lacking when it comes to players. Our lack of desire to sign them for what they are worth and their lack of desire to play for a club that won't pay them and can't seriously expect to win anything as is.

Its silver or silverware and we offer neither now. We won't offer more silver though we do have it and can't over more silverware because we don't have it.

Hard enough just getting a fucking silver membership, let alone anything else.
