ROBIN VAN PERSIE 10!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

would love suarez here, whether he wore 8 or 800. while we surely need a gk and perhaps another defensive cover, its been awhile since we had a pure clinical finisher as a striker (a la villa, drogba, forlan, etc.). henry grew to become that. db10 was a facilitator. robin is great but not a pure clinical finisher as a striker, chamakh is a holding striker like ade was, bendtner is just an idiot, and the rest are facilitators out of the midfield.

i doubt anything becomes of it, but i can dream, right?

How is it that every thread turns into a list of players we need to buy no matter what the subject is?

Here we are, taking about Van Persie who has been with us god knows how long, yet it turns into another thread about a goalkeeper, defensive cover (whatever that is) and something now known as a facilitator!
