It used to be that you play
well and regular for your team, you have a good chance to play for your country.

This isn't some anti Walcott point, it is alluding to a fact that some seem to think incidental.
But the most obvious point is that one that Walcott misses entirely himself.
If he just concerntrated on Arsenal and gave us everything he could on the training ground and on the pitch come match days, all the other, including
INGERLUND would actually follow from that.
It would also have the benefit of assisting us, which is what some of us are really interested in rather than the England team, which on my take is secondary - at best - to Arsenal.
