This is like offering Charles Hawtrey as James Bond and expecting the public to take it seriously.

To be fair, I was dead against Daniel Craig being the next Bond - he was a muscle bound, rugged thug with blonde hair FFS!!! Bond should have BLACK hair and be all swarve and safisticated... BUT to be fair, it worked!Rob wrote:Fabianski as No 1 Keeper.

Sorry, I've had a few beers....
Ive said it before i will say it again! Wenger is a *word censored*! He will be the destroyer of this club.1989 wrote:Can't wait for USMARTIN to blame the board on this one as well.cdparky wrote:I just cannot believe he hasn't got in a keeper. Surely he must see all the goals that current clowns were directly at fault for last season? Sure any keeper can drop the occasional clanger but between them these idiots must have been in double figures last season.![]()
Wenger is taking us backwards fast how can anybody not see it. HE'S A FUCKING DISGRACE.

It's Fabianksi or Almunia. Yet, despite the fact that Flappy has clearly performed much, much worse than Almunia in an Arsenal shirt, I get the feeling that Fabianski WILL be given the nod this season!![]()

I can only imagine that Wenger, Pat Rice and Gerry Peyton keep giving him chance after chance because they KNOW he's a quality 'keeper. They probably believe that once he's got some confidence, he'll kick on and become top, top class - and THAT'S why we haven't seen a new 'keeper this season, or the season before.
I know it seems crazy to us, but they must see something in training that convinces them that buying a 'keeper isn't the answer!![]()
I just hope Wenger's right![]()
and quickly! because I don't want to see another season go down the toilet because of 'keeping errors
Sadly, I can only see this ending in tears- although, I doubt signing Schwarzer would help either - that guy has been in the toilet every time I've seen him!

I think that just means wojiech or vitto will go out on loan and he is not sure which one yetsabastiane wrote:Every time I hear the name Fabianski I think of the Porto game last season. Some other guotes from the article.
"Wojciech is a goalkeeper of huge quality. At the moment we want to play for the title so I believe he needs some more experience to compete directly for the first goalkeeper position.
"But it depends a little bit. We have four goalkeepers, one of them will go out on loan, three have to stay so we do not know yet who will go out."
