Team and formation for the coming season

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Sagna---Koscielny---Vermalen---Gibbs

Nasri----Fabregas----Diaby----Arshavin

----------------Van Persie----------------

I would go with that except i would have Frimpong in as a rush goalie instead of almunia 8)

If we fail to make any new signings which i doubt before Anfield.

Almunia (Think he will start Flappy, Ive seen him fuck up too much in pre season to give him a chance at Anfield)

Sagna ( Under threat by Eboue who has looked impressive )
Vermalean
Kosielney
Clichy ( If not performing id stick Gibbs in there - Looks very consitent)

Song

Arshavin Fabregas Nasri

Robin Chamakh

Then Theo on the bench there to change to the game if need be, at Anfield i feel Cesc will not start and he will chuck Diaby in there and if Robin dosn't start he could through in Theo or Denilson, Rosicky, Eboue and play Arshavin off Chamakh

You feel cesc wont start at anfield yet you name him in your starting 11 ? :?

Tbh I really do not see wenger starting with cesc, song, rvp or diaby (please god) when none of them have played a minute in pre season so expect to see frimpong and either wilshire or rosicky in starting line up at anfield. Strong looking line up aint it

Because this thread is about who will start this season not just at Anfield. The first side is what i think is our best starting 11 then under it i say who will come in for Anfield.
