I've got a few little injury problems but we'll have to wait and see how I pull up when I return to London."Bring Back Pires wrote:This was posted on ESPN in the last half hour...

Based on that, the signing's a dead cert. In fact, it's probably what convinced Wenger to stump up the £4m!franksav63 wrote:I've got a few little injury problems but we'll have to wait and see how I pull up when I return to London."Bring Back Pires wrote:This was posted on ESPN in the last half hour...

It'll just be typical, sign him as our 37 year old saviour, and then he's out for 4-6 weeks...Bring Back Pires wrote:Based on that, the signing's a dead cert. Its true he's not the most amazing keeper in the world but he's better than what we have at the club and that's good enough for now.
Don't forget he'll have a more solid defence here than he had at Fulham or Australia and he's good with crosses so that's a good sign.
On the whole, I'd be happy if this one happens.
