This was the shocking thing when Cesc was talking about the differences between the Spainish national team and Arsenal.

He said "At Spain we sit down for about an hour and watch clips and tapes on the oppossion and discuss how to play. At Arsenal we don't do that!"

Thats a disgrace!!!! I bet wenger gets them all happy meals from Mcdonalds and lets them all watch high school Musical!

I think AW goes about it saying "this is how we will play and we will do this etc..."with no appreciation or consideration how your opponents will play or line up.
Still shocking and no wonder we got turn over by Hull last year.

I remember Vieira saying something similar years ago when asked what Wenger was like in the dressing room before a game and at half time and Paddy said something like "he's very quiet, he just let's us get on with it". Great if you have everything sorted from training I suppose, but the impression I got (and this has been strengthened over the years) was Arsene has no plan B and doesn't really believe in a plan B...

Partly, it has to be the type of characters we have in that dressing room. The Henry's, DB's and Vieira's were Apex predators on a football pitch, alpha males, they knew when they hadn't done what was needed and their pride and egos would push them to try harder. Wenger probably only needed to hint at something and it would get sorted. These new players? Lacking in character? I don't know, it's all speculation of course but it might hint at one of the (many) reasons we have failed so much since those big names left...

I think most people/critics feel the same mate. i dont hate him and he will go down in Arsenal history as the greatest ever manager and im grateful for what he has done but everyone has a shelf life and i think he has been at the club too long and had a too free reign and now cant see the wood for the trees anymore, we need a fresh approach or someone to have the balls to tell Wenger to sign some decent experienced players

So was I (at the match) and I had no problem chanting respectfully towards our manager regardless that I question some of his ideas from time-to-time.

I don't know how it's brainless? He's the manager of Arsenal football club and has brought tremendous success. If you detest him/or his approach enough to not warrant chanting his name then in my opinion you should consider finding another team to support.

The w@nkers who chanted everything else during the chant need to be lined up against a wall and smacked with a shilelagh. (if any of you are offended by me calling you a w@nker, feel free to chat with me prior to the Blackpool game on Saturday)

I think your the wanker, and you will find i am not alone in this comment. How can you judge me about how i support my team. You carry on singing wengers name and inflate his french Ego this will please the board and wenger a great deal. Agreed eh! So you can also sing his name with pride! Well he has done such a great job with his constant lies and his trophies the last 6 years.
If i did meet wenger i wouldnt slap him that would be fucking stupid. I would however tell him how dissapointed i was with him and his choices, and i would tell him to his face i think he is doing a real bad job Managing Arsenal. I would also tell him the crowd are starting to turn on him and that there would be backlash unless he starts fighting for new players.

Its brainless because he does not deserve it! Would you sing a players name if he had been shit for 6 seasons running??????????????????? Or if said player came out with lies every year but still didnt improve his game.
