Koz, for me at this early stage, is not a patch on Gallas.
Squillaci no spring chicken and remains to be seen whether he can bring a similar spirit to that of Campbell.
We finished the season with Bendtner, Eduardo and RVP up front now all we have is Chamakh. No use saying RVP will be back soon cos he won't and Bendtner is/was never good enough in the first place.
So, for me, we're probably in a weaker position now than in May.
Bendtner isn't still a world beater as you mentioned, Eduardo wasn't good enough and RVP isn't reliable. So yes, a consistent striker with aerial abillity, good team work and hopefully one who can last a whole season is a big plus in comparison to last season.
