25 man squad

Footie fans are shocked and outraged after foreign Arsenal cheated new Premier League rules on foreign players.

As Premier League clubs release squad lists for the season, tabloid hacks are amazed to see that Arsenal foreigners are within the rules.

Whining, whinging foreigner Arsene Wenger (who is also French) moaned and groaned all summer about the fucking stupid meddling regulations brave new rules to help English home-grown talent.

"Of course he's moaning" we all said, "they're all fucking foreigners!"

Wrong

But now Arsenal have been allowed to play, even though we said they didn't have no English players and that.

Authorities say that "Jack Wilshere", "Kieran Gibbs" and "Theo Walcott" are technically English, in spite of playing for Arsenal.

They are also UNDER 21, allowing whinging Wenger to use a loophole to escape punishment.

Dickheads

Football expert Oswald Mosely said: "The rules are a farce. Or, you could say, a fArsenal."

"Only white Anglo-Saxon protestants should be allowed to play the beautiful game. WASPs, as I call them. Beautiful WASPs."

"Who the fuck is Denilson?" he continued.

Arsenal have made a joke of the rules by listing 56 "youth" players. But some of these players are very suspicious, according to ex-footballer Gavin Tottface.

"They may look like young British players" said Tottface, "but then you see their names - they're called things like Aneke and Afobe and bloody Frimpong."

"Frimpong?"

"That's about as English as spaghetti bolognese!" he added, finishing his thirteenth pint of Stella and dribbling vomit over his naked, hairy beer belly.

Werte clearly taking the piss out of the new rule with our 20 man squad, it can be adjusted in january so it isnt because we will be signing player in the window. It would have been easy to put walcoot , Wilshere, Gibbs in the 25 man squad without a foreign player being left out so its just Wenger showing how stupid the rule is fair play to him

I don't get it!

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sp ... farce.html

The Sun are talking about over seventy players, but I count no more than 41 on the Arsenal website. Or do they just want to say that we can basically use EVERY player of the first team squad and reserves?

Personally I wish Arsene had concentrated just that bit more on properly strengthening the squad rather than playing 'Look what a clever bugger I am' games by trying to prove a point to the PL about how stupid their new rules are!!! :banghead:

Just been having a very similar conversation on another chat room.

We don't think there's any possibility that Wenger's transfer policy this summer could have been influenced by this do we?

The possibility that we could have bought Jagielka/Cahill but decided against it just to prove a point to the FA, for example
