New e-ticket system

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He's around the 37,000 mark, it'll just be interesting to see how far he's come down this season, he was on 49,000 a couple of seasons ago... also give some kind of indication of how many ST holders ditched their tickets this season... :? :?

It is with some trepidation that I will try to purchase tickets for Newcastle tomorrow via this new system. I will report back.

as for the ST waiting list, I don't understand why it takes so long to update?? I gather only 2k didn't renew but if those at the top of the waiting list didn't have the cash to pay straight off then there is potential to climb a few thousand more places.

The club seems to be listening to it's supporters. And has said that it will ask for our opinions/comments when the new system is up and running.

There has been massive criticism of the existing system. I would love it if the despicable Ticketmaster have lost the contract. Especially after the exposure that some of their staff were buying Arsenal tickets fraudulently. And selling them on to touts. The c**ts.

Never had a problem with the on-line box office before but now I'm trying to sign in to the new system for the first time - WHAT A LOAD OF SHIT!!!! I'm just going round and round in circles.

I've entered my membership number and name and it tells me I've already got an account. I KNOW!! I've had an account for fecking years!!

I've then tried to activate my account by pressing "Welcome Sign in" but it sends me back to the page I just left. So I've re-entered my details and it sends me back to the Activate page.

It's like that Abbot & Costello sketch "Who's on first base?"

Only Arsenal could take a system that worked and make it worse!! I despair at some of the imbeciles working at our club.

Just tried using it for the first time since the change over, who in the world considered that this format is more user friendly and easier to navigate than the old one? :banghead:

Its worked fine for me as well. Never had any issues with the new one but didn't really have any issues with the old one as well. I think its just getting used to the new format. Once that happens it will as smooth as silk :whee:
