CARLING CUP AT THE SWAMP

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I went through extra time kick by kick just to fill him in
One of the senior managers in here is a scum ST holder and she (it) wore her jersey in after the 5-1 and gave it large. So I'm wearing my 1970's Arsenal jersey today and smiling my face off. Will be sat in a meeting later today (which she too will be at) for about an hour too! Can't wait.

Went to the game last night at their medieval stadium, what an awful place!! Including the 4 hour hike to the ground from the tube station!

But, what a cracking evening, enjoyed every bloody minute of it, we absolutely outclassed them all over the pitch, controlled the game for the majority and played some wonderful stuff at times!

Everyone had a great game on the pitch, atmosphere from the gooners was tremendous, enjoyed it when the second penalty was given and the spuds all started marching towards the exit! bye bye spuds, off you go!

All in all, a very sweet evening! :barscarf:

Fantastic night. This morning I'm hungover and bruised (from celebrating) but it well was worth it, the lower tier was rocking for all 120 mins.

I am fcuking buzzing this morning ! Not felt this happy after a game for a long time !

Since they qualified for the CL we've had non-stop fcuking Spurs love-ins left right and centre, "Sp*rs Return to Glory" "Harry should be England Manager/Knighted/King of the World"

Then, owned, mullered and right royally fucked in their own backyard.

Have that Sp*rs..fcuking have that !

And the chants were sublime ! I love the "are you tottenham in disguise" and "shall we make a DVD"...

What a great night ! :barscarf: :barscarf:  :D

The team taking it to extra time was class. It's like when you are giving someone a good shafting but you just hang on to it that little bit extra so that you heighten the pleasure when you do release and blow your muck on their face.

Best feeling after a game since the 3-0 spanking last year. Good to know that even at the height of their new “gloryâ€

Cracking atmosphere to be at, loved it. Extra time we just took the piss, I was hoping it was 5 tbh but fuck it.

Eboue and Fabianski were shit, the rest of of the lads played well, Djourou had to do a lot more work with no cover, and first game back he did well. Kos was tremendous, and Gibbs was simply sensational.

Wilshire is the future King Of Highbury.

8 changes and we won, with lots of injuries as well. Fuck off spurs!!!

'' Only the CC'' is all I'm getting off my y*d associates ! F*cking QUALITY :barscarf:

Well done AW !! Some experienced players as well as a few youngsters was a good mix.

Denilson did well. And for the lads that have played little or no first team football for a while ( Djourou, Lansbury, Vela, ) and in an intense game, they played well.

Gibbs looked superb !! :barscarf: Clichy seemed to look slighlty sharper when he came on. Maybe worried for his place ? Can only be good for the side.

Up the Arsenal !! :barscarf:

Eboue wasnt shit whoever it was that said that?! He was fine, had a good game!

I did enjoy it when Clichy beat about 6 players down the left side towards the end, that was cracking me up, the way he kept coming out with the ball.

Wilshere did it a couple of times too, there was one point where he crawled about 15 yards and still kept it

By the way I absolutely love Chamakh and Koscielny, both wonderful signings!
