Jack Chester

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

My heartfelt sympathies to Jack's family, friends, and admirers , and well done to the manager for remembering how important Jack and life itself are.

I read up on Jack after Wengers comments and found an interview he gave which choked me up a bit. He seemed a great young man who got the most out of his tragically short time.

RIP and sympathies to the boy's family and friends. Cancer took my mum and dad before I reached 32. An awful disease but terrible when it takes one so young.

he was just brilliant...

he did an interview on radio 1 which bought me to tears... arsenal did alot for him he features in the be a gooner be a giver videos (youtube) and there alot of pictures of him with the team... inc training sessions with almunia.

does any onethink there will be anything in the programme saturday?

all his hard work he had with the teenage cancer trust is being carried on and instead of flowers they have asked for donations to the charity.

miss him so much.......<3

A minute of silence would be a classy touch.

I think we should all call the club.

This young fella will be upstairs now shouting NANANANANANANA Samir Nasri like all the Gooners were last night...

The spirit will be forever Gooner...he may have left our world...but boy he is up there with some great people...

RIP

I can deal with death when it happens to older people.

But it just rips my guts out when people die so young.

It seems that Jack was a very exceptional, and well loved, lad.

He lives on in the hearts and minds of those who knew him.

A minutes silence at the next home match would be a fitting tribute.

Very humbling when tragedies like this happen. Makes you stop and think about what's really important.

We've lost a good kid to this horrible bloody disease.

Rest In Peace Jack.
