Spurs Great Home Support
I reckon we'd break our CL duck if we got awarded 3 penalties a match, especially if we got one every time someone thundered a shot against the back of the elbow from 5 yards
Fucking joke - amazing how the home side seems to get it. Wonder if they'd have got 3 penalties in Holland for the same offences. Hmmmmm

Looks at it objectively I think it would be better for us if Spuds did get finish 2nd in the group rather then 3rd.
There is always a chance they could win the UEFA Cup, no chance of them winning the Champions League.
Anyway shouldn't clubs who haven't won their own domestic league for over 50 years be banned from competiting in the CHAMPIONS league.

A scummer tried to justify their crowd figure last night, by saying that they have to leave a large segregation gap between the home support and the away...I Hate Hleb wrote:Their first home game in the European Cup for 17,791 days and they only got a crowd of 32,500 odd - a couple of thousand of which were away fans!!REBEL GOONER wrote:i was thinking the sameBring Back Pires wrote:Good grief, their thread should be renamed, "1001 Excuses Why I'm Not Going Tonight".![]()

It's the same thing with the spammers, they can't sell out a london derby with fulham FFS yet they want a 60,000 stadium in Stratford courtesy of London council taxpayers.Justin-AFC wrote:They have a meeting tonight regarding their new 60000 stadium, im hoping they get rejected.
They don"t even need it.
I don"t know whats better. Seeing them get rejected and keeping it the way it is, or seeing them only half fill their 60000 stadium week-in and week-out.
They'll probably get the planning permission as levy keeps threatening the council with pulling out of the area. God knows Tottenham high road is a cesspool enough as it is, without a flash new hotel and a half empty stadium what would the council do.......

Would love to see the application rejected and Spurs forced to move out of the area, if only to be able to chuck the word 'nomads' back in their faces!!
However from what I've read recently, it appears that they will get the go ahead for the project.
Still, we can then look forward to taking the piss when we see it half empty for certain fixtures.

It was rejected the 1st time so there's still hope. Although, these are the revisted plans.I Hate Hleb wrote:Would love to see the application rejected and Spurs forced to move out of the area, if only to be able to chuck the word 'nomads' back in their faces!!![]()

I think its today they find out if Haringey council approve the plans. I think I read Haringey said they will be provisonally approving them this time. Hopefully it will be enough to bankrupt them.Boomer wrote:It was rejected the 1st time so there's still hope.
