Reyes: Do we want him back
Reyes is not a great player-Henry, Bergkamp and Vieira are great players. Its makes me mad when i hear Arsenal fans call Reyes great these fans need to get a life.I bet they think Baptista is great as well. Reyes wont be back he hates England, the weather and the physical side of our football.I say good riddance to him

The whole Reyes saga is a rather sad one. I had a bit of respect for him when he came in 2003/4 because he seemed to be trying hard to impress.
I spent £25 a ticket for Keown's testimonial and took a friend's kids to Highbury to get them hooked, especially as Beckham was going to be there and we were the unbeaten champions. After about 2 mins Becks went off, the players in the England and French sides went off and I felt the dread of paying out for the usual paint drying testimonial experience.
Reyes came on as sub in the 2nd half and seemed to be treating it like a proper match, banging in a couple (or was it three I can't remember fully) of goals and remember thinking this guy has got the hunger for it.
The turning point I think was the Aragones 'shitty black man' incident, which may have lost him a few friends in the dressing room but he was unfortunate in that respect. I think he is is also a rather simple guy, he's from a Spanish gypsy family and I heard somewhere that he couldn't even read until he was 13 years old.
I think he's said his piece and burnt his bridges with the Arsenal, we've moved on and so should he.

reyes started off as an absoloute handfull for the oppositions defence but then he started to loose his form and started diving also he didnt look like his heart was in it, if he can perfrom like he did when we were unbeaten i would happily welcome him back but if he is still like he was next season or wants to stay in spain we shold hopefully get quite abit of money for him
