Notice how Sky has spent the last 24 hours trying to prove Murphy wrong? Absolute *word censored*.

Too right .
See how they really had to dig deep into the Footballing c**t archives to wheel out that thug Mills and the original Pulis prototype Dave Bassett.
Suppose it's the medias job to mix it up and make a story bigger but you'd think they could have come up with some one with more footballing credibility than Mills .
Think this one is gonna run and run over the next few months .

And the Motor Racing analogy Mills used was hilarious!! He said something like: 'you wouldn't ask a Formula One Driver to slow down at a corner in case he crashes'!!

Erm.... no because they are intelligent enough to realise that you do have to slow down when approaching a corner and know that it's not conducive to the health of their rivals or themselves to approach it at the same speed you do a straight part of the track!! :banghead: :banghead:

On the other hand, you do tell a Formula one driver that he isn't allowed to crash a fellow driver. In fact, you risk being penalised even if you brush your opponent's car. If anything, in F1, the rules are far more stringent than in the EPL brand of lets-break-legs football.

Is there any chance De Jong will be suspended more than 3 games? Will he even be suspended?

And if it was ben arfa's tackle on de jong nobody would be looking for ben arfa to be suspended  I agree that nobody (well very few anyway  ) deserves to have their leg broken but the media are jumping all over the de jong tackle just cos it is de jong and his name is mud after the world cup cos de jong clearly got the ball in that tackle and it was his follow through other leg that done the damage. There is a world of difference between that tackle and taylors assault on the dude, scumbag shawcross's assault on ramsey and karl henry's shocker on gomez and in typical english media style they cant or wont seperate the two as it is not in theit benefit to do so

By the way I would still buy de jong for our midfield if I was manager 8)

sadly it's still not enough...Eduardo will never be the same player again.. But that C U N T Taylor is still free to ply his thuggery at watford... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: That twat Mcliesh is a nasty fecker too - he's just as bad as fat walruscunto allardyce, pulis and the rest of em...

Personally I think the culprit should also have the word C U N T tattoed on his forehead in BIG letters... :banghead: :D :high5:
I completely agree with Wrighty, who cares if you mean it or not! In the current system you're suspended for 3 or 4 games and the guy you injured loses more than 4 months of his career! Credit to Murphy for speaking out, there is an uncontrollable wildness and thuggery to the English game that needs to be stamped out  :banghead:

I dont agree with the suspension matching the injury for the simple reason that Karl Henry by that logic wouldn't even get a suspension, and robinson would get a 1 game suspension. What needs to happen is the FA needs to be given greater power over retrospective punishment. They should be able to overrule referee's and implement bans of their own discretion with serious offenders facing 15 games out.

Or if the FA are too incompetent to administer something like that just flat-out increase the standard suspension for serious foul play from 3 games to 8 games or something like that.

You may have a point regarding the media, but ball or not, to follow through like he did is considered reckless and more importantly, because of that, supposedly illegal nowadays. Yet the ref didn't even give him a yellow card!!!

Even after reviewing the incident the referee didn't see things any differently and thus De Jong will escape any punishment from the FA. It's a pity the official concerned isn't suspended for a long time for not even knowing the rules - which you'd think would be quite important seeing as he's supposed the one person that's there to make sure they are adhered to!!! :banghead: :banghead:

Have to disagree with you Augie...

I can assure you that despite being half french half dutch, thus not having any preference between De Jong and Ben Arfa, this tackle was simply awfull! We both know what De Jong thought when going in... "I'm gonna put a good tackle on the ball and the little french guy has better understand to get of the way!"

To be honnest I don't like Ben arfa because the guy thinks he's better than the whole world. But I don't like De Jong too because to me he's just a poor version of Van Bommel. There's no doubt that Van Bommel is as dirty as De Jong, maybe even more, but Van Bo knows how not to get caught, while De Jong is just plain stupid and "gets in".

Interesting stuff on Arseblog today.

Arseblogger points out that the nasty tackles posted to Youtube are being blocked very quickly by the FA on copyright issues. Lovely clean football is allowed to stay.

FA being two faced *word censored*? Yes, I think so. They want to protect the image of the game through selective censorship.

Also, the FA are claiming that they can't take additional action against the worst cloggers. Their hands are tied by FIFA. The following link exposes them for the useless shower of shit that they are.....

http://anotherarsenalblog.blogspot.com/ ... ts-fa.html

good to see them outed.

The Powers that be seem to be closing ranks regarding Danny Murphy's recent verbal standing .
League Manager chiefs have blasted Murphy for his out spoken comments ;
".......... and said Murphy should not have spoken out ......................... and that two of the three clubs mentioned have yet to receive a Red Card in the Barclays Premier League this Season "
Hardly a debate winning statement that one as its only only through the grace of poor officialdom and refereeing standards that fact remains .
Indeed Henry should be 2 Reds to the good after his bout with Joey Barton .
Suppose the League Managers Association is there for the purpose of forming a wagon circle around each other when under attack but it does in one way unwittingly ,Isolate Wenger as we all know his stance to certain types of Players and Managers . Take it he didn't put his name to the press Statement above .

Meanwhile Marseille are planning legal action against Nigel De Jong .
President Jean Cleade Dassier was telling French TV .
"...We will file a claim against De Jong . Its about getting rid of this type of Individual from European Grounds "
Wish him luck . If a legal precedent is set there will be a lot less scum bag challenges doing the rounds as accountability would be order of te day .
Personally , can't see how they could legally implement a hard case ruling as in most cases it would prove a hard to prove that one player physically assaulted another intentionally with GBH in mind .
Unless of course you're a Roy Keane type assasain that brags about it and then publishes ones guilt .
Even then did Haaland get financial compensation ?
