Louis Theroux in Lagos - Sponsored by Arsenal?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

There are Arsenal shirts in Africa because UK charities give second hand ones to the poor kids there.

Probably get loads as Arsenal's younger 'fans' jettison them in order to buy the latest Chelsea/Man Utd shirt in order that they can support winners!! :banghead:

i watched it they were wearing the new 89 away style one, and the blue "spuds" ones think they were new.

I just came on here to mention the number of Arsenal tops on 'Louis Theroux: Law and Disorder in Lagos' thinking I'd be first with the news.

Ah well.

I can't see any reference to the moment in the programme when there's a close up of an Arsenal crest hanging from the rear view mirror in a car. The camera lingers on it for a good few seconds. I reckon there could be a Gooner in the editing suite, as well as all the Gooners on the streets of Lagos.

Interesting too that there were no other Prem club tops in evidence - though I did notice one England top.

I always enjoy watching programmes about Africa, there's nothing quite like seeing other peoples horrendous living conditions to make me feel better about my life
