diarra set to go !!!!!!!!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If he wants out, they should let him........There is something very wrong with this bloke, cause it don't make sense.....It all seems very strange that he wants to quit, only because he can't deal with not breaking into the Arsenal first team within months of his arrival! He's a right bottler.....a fucking Coward!......we don't need spinless wimps in our team.

If what he has been saying in the press is true then good riddance I say. When you come to the arsenal you can't expect to go into the first eleven straight away. You have to knuckle down, hard graft and you'll have the reward.

Look at Flamini, been at the club since 2004 and only now in the first eleven. A case for Almunia could be made too, your chance will come, its obvious Diarra can't be bothered waiting or working hard, thaught he was our best player against Newcastle in the league cup and has shown signs that he is a good promising player but sadly his attidude is wrong and it looks like he's on his way.

Sad to see the lad go, he is a quality player, but you are spot on Zim :( What if the Flanimal should go too but, Diarra would have been a ready made replacement.

how arrogant is diarra

Post by isr103 »

how arrogant is this guy...

The people at Portsmouth know I will not spend my life at this club," he added.

"If I shine, if a really big club wants me, I know already that everything will go well.

"Portsmouth are a respectable club who are enjoying a good start to the season. There are talented players here - (Sol) Campbell, Kanu, Benjani (Mwaruwari), Muntari, (Glen) Johnson, (David) James. "

on a separate note i hope we have a buy-back clause as i have no doubt he will be successful in the future.

clearly no ambition at all. maybe the fact he'll be playing regular is all he wants. and lets face it he will be their best midfielder. he may see them as an 18 month stop gap to a bigger club.

£2m to £5.5m is good business Mr. W

What's the odds on Lassana Diarrahorea threatening to go on strike or score an own goal at Pompey for not selling him as 'they don't have my ambition'.

I'm sure we wont regret this - as we haven't when we sold Anelka, Cole or Reyes, no-one's bigger than the Arsenal.

Yet another Arsenal player to leave for Pompey. At least the others were worthy of being labelled as ex-Arsenal players.

Does Diarra even deserve that?

What as he done? As far as I'm concerned he did nothing worthy of notice for us. He had talent, but he didn't put it on show.
