Wigan Carling Cup snow and other b*ll*cks.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We weren't able to leave it for two hours, as it was in between stations, and by the time we did, had no choice but to go home. And it wasn't even on TV. Ah well, watching Man Utd get beaten is always enjoyable, and there will be other times.

Good luck to everyone else getting home tonight.

As someone who sat snowbound in Dublin airport for 7 hours last January (and missed the Everton game) I feel your pain, mate. :(

That was the day you broke your wrist, yes?

Please tell us the story again as I haven't heard you mention it for days!

Only if you promise to regale us one more time with your fascinating tale of travelling to an away game and becoming a real fan!! How did it feel to journey a whole 140 miles return? It really does put Homer's Odyssey in the shade!! Did you sing the Eboue song? Did you ask Arsene to give you a wave? Indeed, does Arsene know?

I only went to see Eboue!

To be honest it was a very long day and I don't think I will be doing it again. I think I will just do what Flash does, buy a shirt and then sit on my sofa.

I did ask Arsene to give me a wave but he didn't hear me over the nasty people singing rude songs!
