Re: Wigan Carling Cup
ppl always put this cup down but Man Utd won it before going on to winning the league 3 times and the champions league, and Chelsea did it before winning the leage twice so still worth winning.Chippy wrote:Our chance to win some silverware.

When did you buy them? If you bought them before Tuesday Nov. 9th it'll be membership cards, if you bought them after you should have received paper tickets...spinney12 wrote:I got 3 tickets on 3 ST's but I didn't buy my own seat I bought them in a different area. Am I due paper tickets (only one day to go) or is it membership cards anyone know?

Heading to this also. In true Arsenal Jekyll and Hyde style of late, it's odd that we can lose at home to Tottenham and fail spectacularly at Braga in one week, and then go top of the league and qualify for a cup semi-final the next. Generally speaking, I can't quite tell if we're one step away from being a trophy winning side, or one step away from being a mid-table side. Surely one will supercede the other at some stage in the future.
As for the game, I'd expect a slightly more youthful team than those that featured in previous rounds, as it's our poorest opposition yet, and at the Emirates. We should win comfortably nonetheless - maybe 3-0 - and I'd expect the annual chipped goal from Vela to send me home happy.
