 you don't agree wenger has had his time?
I wouldn't even bother with the thanks if it was left to me, Wenger is now tarnishing all his former glory for a personal and stubborn crusade.
I understand how you fell but it's difficult for me to forget the glory of 1997-2005
It wasn't a dive Henry...

I feel it's getting to the point where his conviction about not buying experienced and quality players will kill x y and z is now doing exactly that, as they don't seem to be improving, why ?, because there's a distinct lack of competition within the club.

These players can no longer be dismissed as rookies and youngsters, but as experienced international players in their own right, the things that are missing are a winning mentality, an old head to tell them what they're doing wrong (or right), and a killer instict, etc, etc.

They have now grown a complex about playing the likes of the Chavs and Manure, whereby every defeat against them looks like the last, and this surely can't just be down to the poxy pitch. :?
I don’t agree with you like most of what you say  Prior to the Man U match we were top of the league, in the knock out of the Euros and in the semis of the little cup, with a squad that has more depth than I have ever seen in an AFC squad. I don’t have my facts and figures with me, but I seem to recall we have scored only a couple of goals less than the top scoring team, and have let in a couple more than than the team that is now top.

And on top of all that I enjoy watching this attacking team.

All told I think that is good. To criticise the manager who has done that seems silly – because there is every chance that every other manager who might come along could not do as well.

I call our current position success achieved in a world in which our biggest rivals have all had access to far more money than us. And financially I call it a success because we are self-sufficient, and clear for the future, until our three main rivals who all have financial problems – either in terms of meeting Uefa criteria, or in terms of staying afloat at all.

It is success for me and I am not hiding from that.

Coming 3rd or 4th every year equals success???? How do you work that one out??

When Man U, Chelsea, Citeh, Barca or Madrid go bust I might agree with you but we all know that hell will freeze over first. I appreciate the fantastic success that Arsene has brought (note the past tense there - brought, not brings!) to our Club but he is making the same mistakes every season whilst expecting us to shut up, turn up and pay up.

Making mistakes is part of being human - but only an arrogant fool keeps making the same mistakes over and over and over again!!

SyicicSid, I didn't expect you to agree, it's just how I feel, yes, you're correct we were top prior to the Manure game, but why was that? I personally feel it was more down to our rival's deficiencies than to our own improvement, in any other season, we'd be trailing several points behind in 3rd place.

Yes, it's good that Wenger is finally taking the League cup seriously, but then perhaps if he had done this a few seasons ago and won the thing, then the reward from actually winning something (apart from the E****** cup) would have been benefical to this squad, and given them the hunger for more.

The knock out of the Euro's, so due to Wenger's team selection in Shahktar, and then Braga when qualification wasn't guaranteed, we end up in 2nd place, this is down to Wenger again..

I used to enjoy watching us, but I don't no more, the football we play now is light years behind what used to be served up only a few seasons ago, our whole play is far too slow now.

Yes, it's great to be finanancially secure, especially in the present climate, but then perhaps Wenger and the board should start putting towards the playing staff, and not just on paying off debt, paying mega-pay for inferior player's salary.
