According to the Times, Arsene turned down Liverpool's attempts to get Walcott on loan.

Further proof that we should have faith, Arsene, Rafa, Sven and Harry rate him and those four are hardly known for loving bad players.

seeing as our squad is already thin , i would prefer we kept him as a impact sub or put him on the pitch when the result is secure .

possibly loan him for the first six months of next reason since Vela will be back from Spain .

Is that the same Rafa who paid £6 MILLION for Pennant and £13MILLION for Kuyt?

They improved the team which was the point of getting them though probably not for £13 million. He also brought in Reina, Alonso, Torres, Crouch, Levia and begun a reform of the system

Pennant can"t get into the Liverpool team and Kuyt last scored when Spurs last won the league. As for improving the team how many points are they behind us?

Pennant though offered a year or two service until Rafa could get in a better winger and now is simply a squad player, Kuyt got 14 goals last season and was a better player then they had at the time. How many would they be behind us if the board hadn't undermined the manager and upset the players? They are an inferior side yes but Rafa is, or was, slowly building them up.
