Arsene's gone to bed - We aren't making a signing in January

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Sounds too sensible for Wenger though.

Would do me!
As is Brazilian Gooner; DB10; Spudmasher; Boomer, etc. etc....

Both Hangland and Samba are decent players who would be ideal for us. Not quite sure who some idiots think we may sign but remember we're looking at players who cost little or no more than 10m. You're very hard pushed to find better than above who fit our need with the right experience for less money. Some fans probably do still think Wenger may pay £20m+ for a CB

Yet you want to sign Ryan fucking Shawcross.

Have you seen that donkey this season? Last time I checked the stoke twats wanted him dropped for Amedy fucking Faye, and Danny Collins ffs.

Not to mention how he's behaved towards our club before the little scrote.

I despair at times, I really do.... :banghead:

I mentioned that I know a close friend of Pat Rice. That's how I understand that he is stepping down to be replaced by Gilles Grimandi at the end of the season.

Anyway, that friend saw Pat over the festive break and was told the following:

- Wenger will be signing a 'leader on the pitch' in January.
- The 2/3 transfer targets are household names, established and 'winners'.
- Potential big money transfer fee (£15m+)
- Vela out on loan, Ramsay back from Forest, Alumina to be sold to a Spanish club after being told he has no future at the Club.
- The Board have told Wenger "that the team need to start matching the success of the Club off the pitch".

Difficult to believe, I know, but this source has been right for me over the years (knew about Campbell the day before it happened)

Sorry Frank, Vela out on loan -Yes, Ramsay back - Yes, Alumina gone-Fucking hope so, as for the rest of it..........
