As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

YOU WHAT? THEY ARE USUALLY BLOODY USELESS!!
SERIOUSLY THOUGH, MANY THANKS TO GOONER.ED FOR REPLYING TO MY E-MAIL ENQUIRIES AS TO WHAT WAS HAPPENING, AND WELL DONE ROB AND CO. FOR GETTING THE FORUM BACK BEFORE THE WEEKEND - ESPECIALLY ON BEHALF OF MY VERY SORE WRISTS!!

LONG LIVE THE ONLINE GOONER
now i dont think we should as now u have mentioned it here.....he/she might see it *i think you may know who im talkin about* and get us offline again barstardhole....pink cats.....i hate them!!!!
Just when I had found this site and was really getting into it I thought it was going to be taken away from me like the Royal Mail recently when they said I had a job and could start straight away, then took it all away by telling me they had oversubscribed the positions. I just couldn't handle 2 disappointments so close together, it would have been the end of me. Glad to see the forum up and running again, I wonder if we discussed plans on how to bring down the corrupt capitalist western world would we be shut down again so soon?
Number 5 - Without wishing to use a chavski phrase....keep your chin up! There are plenty of good employers out there, so good luck in your next interview. Its the Post Office's loss!
Cheers MK, while the RM did screw me over and did tell me I'd be on the waiting list for a year I'd rather wait that long to start stealing the mail than be off here for a year! If anyone needs help screwing Blackhorse over let me know cos they're the one's who put me on the scrap heap!
So glad its back, well done to all involved in fixing it for us.
The time without it, facing the prospect of its loss even forced me into joining facebook (which might be a positive out of all this).
I can't put into words the relief I'm feeling right now. And pride too, we now have a sense of infamy about us, something I learnt from reading other sites 'obituaries' for this forum.
I think we all quite fairly have an axe to grind with certain individuals. That they should weald that sort of power is somehow beyond me. The only good thing is that this action was spoken about on many sites and the word has spread about certain individuals, making them even more unpopular than they are. It is a well known fact that if you raise your head above the battlements too often you will eventually get shot. So lets sit back and watch as their world slowly falls apart under the increasing pressure of being the most loathed person in the history of the club (possibly excluding Cashley).
I have a particular axe to grind as the resultant downtime meant I had to do some work yesterday. I'm typing now from my sickbed
Anyway, on a brighter note. Glad we're back and we all get to talk bollocks together once again I missed you guys

in truth, the power of this individual is only significant if it is acknowledged. sadly, some hosting companies are more resilient than others when they get a legal threat. and it is only through incidents like this that you find out the reality. some hosting companies would have said - have you contacted the people that run the site, or - we will look into this and get back to you.
some will simply take a site down and ask questions later. there was stuff written that we all know was tongue-in-cheek, not literally meant. but understanding where people come from and their sense of humour is not something that hosting companies are going to think about much.
maybe we will - in the future - find someone more resilient with better procedures, but for now, we have the forum back, so let's be witty, but not direct.
will be interested to hear about any sightings of cats in the manchester area today...
