Arsene's gone to bed - We aren't making a signing in January

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

But great news on our transfer front Gavin Hoyte has extended his contract at Lincoln.

Chelsea strengthen where they need it, the dippers are re-building instead of putting cash in a bank, the scum are bidding big money for strikers because their strike force is crap, even S'land and Villa are strengthening where it's needed.

AW says a squad with Denilson,Squillaci and Barry B is good enough to go for 4 trophies....regardless of the fact that a league one team nearly humiliated them.....is there any one left here that doesn't think the old man is going senile and or is a c**t.
TBF on the old man you've just highlighted the last 3 or so transfer windows.
I don't know why I do it...every TDD is the same I hope and pray that something'll happen and come end of the night sweet FA.....sounds like the bad old days as a teeneger trying to get some

Your welcome.
Just heard that too and had me in stitches....sadly he didn't mention Mertsacker either :(

I just hope Wenger has got this right. If this all fucks up he will be THE ONLY PERSON TO BLAME. I don’t want this, I want us to win the league but I am scared the squad wont cope with games like Wolves, Stoke, Newcastle and Sunderland. These games are must win, not even a draw would be enough.

Its so depressing that we have no new players this January, we badly need a new CB , IN FACT I WOULD GO AS FAR TO SAY WE ARE DESPERATE FOR DEFENSIVE COVER. If not a CB then a defensive midfielder that can free up Song.

There is only one man to loose us the league this year and that is Wenger. That’s if his decision of not brining in back up comes back to bite him.

Please Wenger you old *word censored*, sign a fucking player and bring back the fucking glory.

I saw highlights of their game the other day & he was getting run ragged

Some exciting Arsenal related news though...
1419: To all you Arsenal fans who thought you wouldn't get a mention on transfer deadline day, you were wrong. Are you ready for this? BBC Lincolnshire report that 20-year-old Gunners defender Gavin Hoyte has extended his loan deal at Lincoln until the end of the season. You can pick yourselves up off the floor now...
 :banghead: Didn't even realise he was still on our books lol

Sky Sports - Tirres hasn't left Liverpools training ground at all. Bookis have made him 6/4 to stay at the Dippers and Liverpool deny accepting bid for him.

Newcastle turn down £30m bid for Carrol.........£30m for him? The English game is madder than ever!
