London Club Rules
I'm heading over to the Sunderland game but this time instead of heading back the same day we're staying the night.
What's the rules regarding footwear in London's pubs and clubs? Is it strictly only shoes or can you get in wearing a nice stylish pair of runners?

Depends wher you are going, how many of you there are, and your overall dress.IW8Goalmachine wrote:I'm heading over to the Sunderland game but this time instead of heading back the same day we're staying the night.

I have been turned away for wearing boots with steel toes.

Yep steel toe caps are a no no in 99% of places. Including pubs (the ones with doormen).goonersid wrote: Depends wher you are going, how many of you there are, and your overall dress.

i love it when doormen are fussy with numbers. we were down in brighton last weekend for my 3 of my mates' birthday, about 20 of us packed out this little place in the lanes but because we all went in dribs and drabs, it was fine...
if there's ever any hint of hitting a club on a night out i always wear shoes. its better to have them on and feel a bit over-dressed than get turned away and have to find somewhere else who may also turn you away...

Dude, the vast majority of clubs in London allow trainers.IW8Goalmachine wrote:I'm heading over to the Sunderland game but this time instead of heading back the same day we're staying the night.
