London Club Rules

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

London Club Rules

Post by IW8Goalmachine »

I'm heading over to the Sunderland game but this time instead of heading back the same day we're staying the night.

What's the rules regarding footwear in London's pubs and clubs? Is it strictly only shoes or can you get in wearing a nice stylish pair of runners?

Pubs are fine with trainers, but some clubs you'll need shoes. All depends on where you go mate.

Depends wher you are going, how many of you there are, and your overall dress.
I have been turned away for wearing boots with steel toes.

Yep steel toe caps are a no no in 99% of places. Including pubs (the ones with doormen).

i love it when doormen are fussy with numbers. we were down in brighton last weekend for my 3 of my mates' birthday, about 20 of us packed out this little place in the lanes but because we all went in dribs and drabs, it was fine...

if there's ever any hint of hitting a club on a night out i always wear shoes. its better to have them on and feel a bit over-dressed than get turned away and have to find somewhere else who may also turn you away...

Dude, the vast majority of clubs in London allow trainers.

Fabric, Pacha etc etc etc

& why would u wanna go to a club when you could rent out some broad and bang f*ck out of her back in ur pad? instead of shooting to some club and teasing ur micky over every slapper there and heading home at 5am for a ***** on ur tod

Get the slut, get the ride - happy days :drunk: :sex:

Hip Hop/Grime club is tracksuit jeans trainers no problem.

Most places are smart casual these days though, no baseball caps or trainers.
