As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If he didn't remonstrate and moan during games then you and people like you would be up in arms about a "lack of passion" and you know it.
Mate as I said already I have no problem with that aspect of his personna as long as it isnt his only thing and again I will say that it is. We have all did silly things in the heat of battle that you might regret later but he never seems to If you want to be honest you will also acknowledge that he now uses this type of bullshit as a deflection method to distract people from the fact that we are not good enough plus we are also getting exposed injury wise again cos he refused to strengthen but its better to talk about dodgy referee's isnt it ?
I dont want to get into the referee on tuesday again, my view on that is well documented.
As for your broader point, yes Wenger deflects criticism but what manager does not? When was the last time you saw a manager, let alone a manager of a top club (Yes, we are a top club) admit that they simply aren't good enough? Answers on a postage stamp.
Im far from a fully fledged AKB but I also think alot of the "realist" posts around here lack balance and overstate their case, which is why it often comes across that im only interested in defending Wenger. Im not, he should have made a quality signing in January to boost not only squad numbers but player morale. I also believe that the day Fabregas leaves the club Wenger should do the decent thing and follow him out of the door. Until then, I will remain on the fence and continue to entertain the possibility that this team can come good. They aren't a million miles away.
Went off on a bit of a tangent there
Good points made. Though.....
So if we loose out on the prem and FA Cup through yet more injury’s and end up with nothing again. Will you be as understanding next season?
Bit of a politicians answer here but every side has its tipping point - the time when they either deliver or disband and my personal opinion is that I've seen enough of this side to believe that it can still go either way.
So yes, until the day comes that CF4 walks out the door (I will consider that a disbanding of this team, such is Cescs importance) I will continue to be understanding not matter how frustrated I will be if we end up potless again. If that day comes before we deliver then I would say that Wenger should pay for the failure of his team with his job. Whether the board have similar ideas is another matter
Sounds ominous.
I really don't think Cesc is leaving this summer, its up to Wenger to make sure he capitalises on that.

Lets judge him in may. Or April what ever comes first
That would be April.
Nope not true. We could go right to the last day , that would be May
Or we could be out of all of it April.
See!!!
Seeing as we might only play 4 or 5 of our remaining 10 games before the end of April, which doesn't included the Man Utd match, then we can't be 'out of all of it' by then as even if we lost all those games, technically we could still catch United.

HAHA I doubt that. Though many on here would still say we can win it and that we should judge him in may

When the reporter reminded him about our lack of shots on target he said straightaway I can guarantee there's no way it would've stayed that way 11 against 11 as Barca apart from the 35yd free kick that injured Chesney and of course the injury time goal had only 1 shot on target in the 1st half!
Deluded old fool. Why cant he just come out and say we lost to the better team
Well to be fair to him Donaldo, he did say post match that they were the best team in Europe and in today's PC he said "we were dominated and we don't deny that" and "didn't have much option" to do otherwise
also about Cesc's fitness he said that his ongoing hamstring injury is a very superficial one and that Cesc had assured him that he was fit and when he sez that, he plays him, several pros have also come out since and said that training with a dodgy hamstring is completely different and you wouldn't probably know until the match itself!
