Blackpool footy thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He has also cost us numerous goals in the past...remember it was his fuck up that cost us the win at brumscum - when Eduardo had his leg destroyed by that scumcunt taylor...had we won that game I honestly believe we'd have gone on and won the prem....I know there were other pplayers and things that contributed to that season going tits up, but THAT was the game when we started going downhill.........

Diaby for me. A top striker would have had 3 today very easily.
Didnt think Diaby was that good, ok he scored but hes too fucking slow in midfield, plus the fact hes thick as shit and likely to make stupid mistakes and get sent off
Ive low expectations for Diaby so he exceeded it a bit. Good run for the first.

Limited choices who to give it to really, Wilshere was good I suppose.

I never realized our "world class" keeper, Almunia has become so injury prone :hmmthink: :hmmthink: :hmmthink:

4-4 against Spurs - can never forgive him for that - one of my worst moments as a gooner

Glad we got the victory but jeez Clichy is an absolute disaster, how many goals has he cost us this season...he might be giving Almunia a run for his money. Despite Diabys stupidity thought he actually had a decent game. Notice as well how Blackpool became less threatening when Walcott came on, that is because he tracks back and helps out the defence unlike Arshavin who barely moves out of his spot!

But the overhyped VP failed to convert numerous chances.Blackpool could have had 3 or 4 penalties due to laughable defending from Koscielny. Squallaci was also AWOL the entire match.

What angers me most is the fact we didnt show have the determination in the last few months that we did today. And thats why we'll win fuck all.

He's world class and every player misses chances

How can experienced player like Clichy keep making stupid schoolboy mistakes for 3 yrs and still haven't learned from them? Its unforgivable and unacceptable. But knowing Wenger I know he will offer him a new contract, he will sign it and we have to watch in horror with him committing the usual howlers for few more yrs. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

The introduction of a 100m runner made the difference did it?

Varney going off for them made more of a difference imo but i'm happy to let the Wenger followers take the glory if they want.

Fuck all else they can claim really.

The problem with Clichy is - he's afraid to just lump the ball up field - coz its not the Arsene way. Just put ur foot through it you wanker :banghead:

We beat Blackpool mate, nothing to get even a semi over.

It doesn't come close to placating me after the total and utter bollocks spouted by our manager and chairman this week.

If u want to walk around with ur head up your arse, fine. I aint allowed to protest at the ground or via the official site so I'll do it here where I'm allowed.

That alright by you?

Demun, get used to it. There are people here who will turn any thread or any event into a moan/bitch/hope-somebody-dies fest. Not worth getting into the debate. When we do badly they moan, and when we do okay, it's still yeahbutnobut, as if we can win games despite ourselves.

To keep on-topic, a fair win against a Blackpool side who are okay going forward but utter crap at the back. Still not quite over but big upturn in form needed if we're going to win the League. Not everyone defends like Blackpool...

That sums it up perfectly. Wenger, Hill-Wood and the sheep are happy to do okay.

Fuck sake.
