That would be the Alex Song who was selected in the team of the tournament, ahead of other CBs such as Kolo.
While I'm at it: Eboue back a bad thing? Not even slightly, when only one of our wide players (Hleb) has impressed consistently this year. As ever, slag off Eboue all you want for play-acting but he's an effective player, with a great cross, occasionally incisive passing and is fantastic at driving into the box. He has created more than his fair share of goals and scoring opportunities this season.

All the good gags about Song go out of the window if he's going to be a good Centre Back.
And agree about Eboue - A definite plus for the squad.

I don't do jokes. And my lawyer (Mr Roly of Dickheads & Morons Solicitors) will be in touch about the Smoothie remark.I Hate Hleb wrote:BLOODY HELL MAY26TH1989.26may1989 wrote:That would be the Alex Song who was selected in the team of the tournament, ahead of other CBs such as Kolo.
