good news, bad news

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

That would be the Alex Song who was selected in the team of the tournament, ahead of other CBs such as Kolo.

While I'm at it: Eboue back a bad thing? Not even slightly, when only one of our wide players (Hleb) has impressed consistently this year. As ever, slag off Eboue all you want for play-acting but he's an effective player, with a great cross, occasionally incisive passing and is fantastic at driving into the box. He has created more than his fair share of goals and scoring opportunities this season.

All the good gags about Song go out of the window if he's going to be a good Centre Back. :( :(

And agree about Eboue - A definite plus for the squad.

I don't do jokes. And my lawyer (Mr Roly of Dickheads & Morons Solicitors) will be in touch about the Smoothie remark.

I respect your authoritha.

Funny, I'm defending Alex Song on this thread, while being criticised for slagging him off on another thread. The ironies of life.

Eboue could be a very good player if only he cut out the diving and feigning injury. How can we have a go at the likes of Ronaldo and Drogba when we have are own actor in the team

Although he went up in my estimation when "He did" Terry
