Silver and Red Membership Renewals, massive price increase

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Who knows. I reckon they just pull the new prices randomly out of a hat whilst lighting up "fat blunts" with wads of £50 notes. Wankers.

I think this job advertisement if link works sums it up for us members.....

http://www.sportsrecruitment.com/job_1723_crm.html

I actually contacted the club regarding a job, where a woman replied saying there all posts are filled, but was kind enough to link me to a sports recruiment site, first post I see is one at our beloved club.

I think the first year we don't qualify for the champions league the club will realise they shouldn't have treated the fans of 20+ years so badly.

still 7600 away from silver membership :?
Just been offered silver. soz. proper buzzing.

I only joined the queue in 2001 on the old TRS, so thats been 10 years in the making.

The guy at arsenal membership services I was chatting to on the phone said their are currently 100k red members (mo money for arsenal), and every season around 1000 - 1500 red members are offered silver membership. So if you joined the list today you would have a 67 year wait for silver assuming no-one dropped out of the scheme. ha ha.

Rebel Gooner. at your place on the list you would assume not many drop-outs above you so looking at a 5 years - 7.6 year wait at worst.

On the price £49 squid is proper steep, but still the same price of Leeds Utd membership believe it or not.

The club has now lost 4 red memberships from this house and this increase has now galvanised my plans to boycott all merchandise for the foreseeable future  I am sick to the bollox of this club, the *word censored* who run it, the senile old fool that "manages" it and the wankers that play for it - they are all a shower of piss taking *word censored* getting rich off the backs of loyal fans who scrimp and save every penny to support this club

I remember a line in a film a few years ago that basically said something all the lines of "a person gets the life they deserve" so I say this with complete conviction, if the fans dont not protest strongly (and I dont mean no peaceful walk  ) at the villa game and there after then they deserve to be shit upon from a great height by the club  There will be 60k + at the villa match and I refuse to believe that there will not be at least 10,000 Gooners who will be outraged at this conduct by the club. If as fans you want to make a difference then turn up for the march in force........if the old bill try to break up the march then disperse and meet up again outside the entrance for the directors or at the amoury but ffs stand together and make yourselves heard

Fuck me sideways.

Anyone got a Silver they won't be using much next season?

Was £18 last year for Junior Gunners on direct debit.

What's that, an 11% rise?

But, you do get a £3 voucher to spend in the megastores when it's their birthdays.

Evil geniuses, we're dealing evil geniuses.

Just had a look at my on-line statements and it turns out that a lite Red membership cost me £25 last year, £36 this year

Bloody hell that a hell of an increase for anyone with a few of them to pay for.

I know I [rightly] moaned at having to pay £39 for my silver lite, but £36 for red is a disgrace!

Arsenal player 'free' with all memberships now makes sense. The club are making a bomb from adding an extra £13 to all those thousands of memberships.... a bleedin' fortune in fact!

They should be ashamed of themselves for treating their fanbase like this - but what choice have we got? we have to pay it. :(

If you don't like it g88ner, then you can fuck off because there's someone else waiting to take your place, hump your wife, and probably burn your house down if they get the chance (according to the oracle that is pireshitsible)
