I have a ST but find it a fucking joke that silver /red members have to join a membership scheme at Â£39 just to have the "privilege" of trying to buy a ticket.
I take it you don't get that money back at any time?

This is what this club has become.

I'm not kingjayson (obviously), but if it's any help, I've been a Red Member since 2004 and am yet to have moved to the Silver side. I'm around 7,000 on the list apparently.

Somebody earlier in this thread suggested that members move up 1,500 places on the list each year, which I've found to be inaccurate. I moved from 13,000 up to 7,000 between August 2008 and August 2010, which is in fact double (3,000) the reported figure.

This is what this club has become.

don't want to defend the club in this massive increase , but the membership thing is more what football has become as every PL team has this thing + season ticket scheme.

simple solution - if everyone don't renew there silver and red memberships, it will mean virtually every game will go to GS and then you can buy tickets with out a membership

I don't actually remember when I joined. But I think it would of been around 2003/4 time. I'm 3000 on the list and they said I won't get Silver this year but next.

To put it another way, I joined the ST waiting list and the Silver waiting list @ around the same time and I've had my ST for 3 years now.

Renewed my Silver today.I have this nagging feeling that they know that they are taking the piss,but they also know that we can't give them up.....Wankers!!!
