Sad news re Charlie! Charlie!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Just read the update and can only give my deepest condolences to Steve's friends and family. I never met the lad myself, but from everything said on this thread it is obvious that you have lost a truly special person and a top Gooner. It is always difficult when you lose someone close to you, but always try to remember that instead of feeling pain from losing him, you should feel joy that you knew him and had him in your life and shared such great times and memories while he was here, I'm sure that is how he would want to be remembered. He is at peace now, no doubt sat in that big North Bank in the sky with a beer in his hand, may he Rest in Peace

Just logged onto Forum . Shocked and Saddened .
Just met Steve the once but top bloke and top Gooner .
Was passing on a ticket for his mate who let him down but he still insisted on sorting me out and going out of his way to make good on it when others would not have bothered . Still got his emails , funny and warm guy . Condolenses to all who knew and loved him most . Upsetting to see such a young guy depart the World but uplifting to see how he touched all around him .

RIP Steve CC

Devastated....what more can I say!

The man I knew was a good man and a loyal gooner. He'll be sadly missed by many.

OMM, please let me know where and when the funeral is so I can send something along.

RIP Uncle Fester!

Even though we never met, I still want to give out my condolences. To a man I never knew, you’ll be missed by many and will bring tears to everyone. It’s terrible when a person’s life becomes shorten by the quickest moments with so much to live for, but you are in a better place now. You have brought happiness and joy to many people, for that is a true blessing for one to live for. R.I.P Steve

Christ. This is just awful. Feel so sorry for Steve's family, his good mates like OMM, Percy, Wayno and everyone else off here and others who knew him. I didn't but he sounded like a great guy. RIP.

I'll send my donation this evening.

R.I.P. Steve R.I.P. - we'd been told the odds were against you mate, but still so sorry to hear that you lost your fight, tellingly, it sounds like you will be sorely missed by all who knew you, my thoughts are with your friends and family................. and of course you too  going out tonite for a family birthday and I promise to have a pint just for you Gooner :barscarf:

Hopefuly this thread could be made into a hard copy and added to the wreath and possibly some tributes could be read out as part of his memorial service, I'm sure he'd be chuffed, what more could a Gooner want??? 8)
