Sad news re Charlie! Charlie!
RIP Charlie! Charlie!
OMM - sorry I've been busy with the little one and family and have only just read the whole thread picking up some of it on the phone after hearing from Kevinho.
My brother is just over visiting from USA landed on Thursday and it is because when he first moved & we had his season ticket still that I met Charlie! Charlie! as he used the ticket once or twice. He sponsored me on at least one of my walks too. Looking foward to seeing the stone.

I've hardly been on here recently and just read this.
Never met the guy but always seemed like a sound poster and good bloke - a tragic loss when someone so young dies, and leaves behind family and friends who love him.
RIP mate.
I'll look around for the thread to donate, I'd be honoured to contribute.

Maybe mate but it spooked me big time, im hoping that if that what it is, feel better if it is one of the girls to post a message to let me knowPercy Dalton wrote:One of Steve's girls Scott?
If he had his password saved and they know how much is going on here for the big man maybe they just clicked on and logged them in automatically?

Percy once solved the Highbury Stadium Mystery. As he says, it does seem a logical explanation but can fully understand why you got spooked.Percy Dalton wrote:If Stevie had saved his password to remember him then I am sure that was it.
We was all spooked when we got a call from Steve's mobile Thursday so I am sure there is a innocent explanation fella.
I hope they have alll come on here and seen the wonderful tributes.

Hopefully, it will help with the healing process. Steve's poor family will be suffering very badly at this time. My thoughts are with them.

if the forum were steve's default page on opening his internet browser, and it was set up to log him in automatically, then it might be as simple as one of his family turning on his laptop and launching internet explorer. i think for now, we just have to assume this is what is happening, odd as it seems.
I'm not so sure he lost as much as time ran out on him. Reading these pages while I don't know that I ever met him I feel like I know him now and miss him for it as he seems a wonderful bloke. I suspect he is in heaven and smiling happily now thinking of his beloved family, matesy and of his Arsenal too.Belfast Boy wrote:R.I.P. Hopefuly this thread could be made into a hard copy and added to the wreath and possibly some tributes could be read out as part of his memorial service, I'm sure he'd be chuffed, what more could a Gooner want???
