This is the runt who went behind the back (illegally) of the club he supported as a boy to engineer a move to one of our main london rivals.

I think it was not what Cole did, it was the way he did it that wound me up.
Players move clubs all the time if their wage demands are not met, sometimes moving between rivals, but should do it without fuss, rather than making a song and dance about it.

I do not want to sell Nasri.
There are many players I would sell before him.
He might not be an orthodox winger, but he is a good player.

The thing about the judas *word censored* is, and correct me if I am wrong, he looked for 60k per week and this was agreed by the club but then the phone bandit and his crooked agent demanded 5k extra per week for his agents fee's

The club then told batty boy that it was his responsibility to pay his agents fee and this led to the breakdown in the negotiations and if that version is correct then I really dont see what the club did wrong

Cole says the club verbally offered a figure through David Dein, then the club reneged and offered 5 grand less. That basically Dein's hands were tied by a tight board spending policy.

The whole agent's fee thing is a sideshow, Cole had a couple more years left on his contract and could have carried on and tried for more cash the following summer.

He wanted out, and I have no problems with that.

But the public nature of his "chance" meeting with Kenyon, and the melodramatic prose in his book, describing his reactions to the contract talks, were ridiculous.

I really doubt Cole is gay though, those stories seemed to start once he went to Chelsea in same way the Sol rumours started once he left Spurs for us.

I thought it was because there were players in the team he didnâ€™t talk too and no one really got on well. He said the dressing room spirit was awful and that he didnâ€™t like the way the club was heading.

Hmmm, getting sick and tired of all these players with contracts running out... will he, won't he sign, every fucking season, just sell him if he doesn't want to play for us, simple as...

Edit... just thinking again, we are The Arsenal, we're a big club, I can't stand these fucking players holding the club to ransom, and Wenger who seemingly bends over backwards for them... GET RID!! (of both)

There is no doubt the club were partly at fault. But there is also no doubt club was swayed by Mourinho.

And he seen the foreign legion taking over here, basically a bunch of losers. He seen the Chelsea English lads, and they may be *word censored*, but they were a tight knit group. I've no doubt the likes of Lampard, Terry and J.Cole were friendly with Ashley in the England camp and he wanted in after the likes of Keown, Adams etc left the club.
