Tricky one, depends on what criteria we are working on to say if a player is legendary or not.

Cesc is definitely memorable. He is definitely a player i will look back on fondly and be able to tell my kids that i saw him play live in an Arsenal shirt and what an amazing player he was albeit surrounded by dross. Does that qualify him as a legend? Not a scooby doo.

What i will say is that the amount of people i meet who have liam brady as their all-time footballing and arsenal hero its not inconceivable that the current crop of gooner youth will hold cesc in similar esteem in the decades to come.

I have advocated, and still do, us selling cesc now but my main reason for doing so is the bad hunch i have about his hamstrings. My fear is that we are going to be able to get less & less out of him as the years go by and his value will drop further and further. Better for all parties involved to let him have his dream move now provided we get 40mil or higher for him.
