city offer nasri 180k a week

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Couldn't this have gone on the transfer rumour thread? The fact that the 'source' is Talkshite makes it even less worthy of it's own thread.

It seems I just can't win with you guys, can I? Anyway, point taken and from know on I will not close or move any thread nor delete any post - regardless of how inappropriate or whether it's a duplicate.

Feel free to write what you want, when you want and how ever often you want and when the forum goes downhill or gets closed down, well you can worry about where to go to next for your 'entertainment' then, I suppose!!  :banghead:

Nope - I've just got totally fed up with all the moaning and being made out to be a bad guy because I try and help keep this thing interesting, legible and legal!!

Well fuck it - I'm not going to give as much of a toss anymore and that way will not allow this thing to take up as much energy and time in my life as it has done up to now. After that, as the saying goes: 'Que sera, sera'.

I sent IHH a PM moaning that he had locked today's two most popular threads. He is right that there is already a Transfer Rumours thread but I just felt that if a particular thread is receiving quite a few comments then they should be allowed to run their course.

However, I respect the good job that IHH does as a mod and would not want him to get pissed off and start sending me intimidating/threatening PM's in return

So keep up the good work Hlebby

Dont take it personal Hlebby im sure most can understand why you locked it and im sure most people understand how hard the mod job is too.

Lets face it it could be worse your girlfriend could be in Ibiza this week getting banged by scores of dodgy spaniards, Brits, Germans, animals and oap's!!! Does that makes the mod job sound better???? :?

The modding here has to be give and take. Posters should not get offended if their thread is locked or moved and similarly I believe we mods should not get upset if posters query us on things. I have locked stuff before and reopened them when asked if the poster has a valid point. It's no problem.

But I think we do have a duty to try and keep the place readable. And to this end Mike and Kev have asked us to keep a tab on repeat threads etc as they dip into the forum for content for the fanzine.

How do City plan to stay within the Financial Fair Play rules if they continue to offer contracts like this??? I know they have three years from when they are implemented in which to get their house in order, but still............. sounds a bit sus to me for that reason!

This is utter cod shite! Why the hell would they offer him £180k a week when he only wants £110k?! Even if they badly wanted him they'd just have to offer £130k a week and he'd go, why the extra 50k? Doesn't make sense!

If the £20mill offer is real and they are blowing us out the water on wages then i'd let him go but we gotta buy fast as there's gonna have to be some serious gelling to be done in that midfield!

man city are owned essentially by the abu dhabi royal family

man city's shirt sponsor is etihad

etihad is owned by the abu dhabi royal family

huge 'sponsorship' contracts means huge revenues within the club's earnings therefore within financial 'fairplay' so expect to see gazprom sponsoring chelsea very soon
